Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Almony manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth, and facial regions.

Dr Almony is the medical director of the Forever Young Day Spa that offers non-surgical facial rejuvenation procedures to include botox, juvederm fillers and laser therapy. Additionally, with hospital appointments at Womack Army Medical Center, Cape Fear Valley Medical Center and First Health Moore Regional Medical Center, Dr. Almony  can also diagnose and treat severe facial infections, facial injuries, and fractures.

Our surgical staff is trained in assisting with Intravenous (IV) sedation and outpatient general anesthesia in our state-of-the-art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery.

Surgical Staff

The surgical staff at Pinehurst Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Center are experienced, certified oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, who assist in the administration of IV sedation and surgery. We also have a trained DAANCE Certified anesthesia monitors. All staff are informed administrative personnel, well versed in health and insurance policies, and are CPR, ACLS, DAANCE certified.

Dr. Almony currently holds staff house officer privileges at Womack Army Medical Center, Cape Fear Medical Center and FIrst Health Moore Regional Medical Center.  He can provide in-house hospital based surgery for patients who require hospital based procedures.
